Mr Keene was admitted as a solicitor in 2009 and called to the bar in 2018. He graduated with a double bachelor degree in Business/Law (LLB) in 2008 and in 2017 graduated with a Masters of Law (LLM).
Before coming to the Bar, Mr Keene worked as a solicitor focusing on large commercial litigation and building and construction litigation
(including interlocutory applications). In doing so, he obtained experience in complex matters for banks, SME, developers, head contractors and subcontractors, respectively.
Mr Keene has also gained a vast experience in Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act disputes and has also practised in significant ACL claims.
He has appeared in the Supreme, Federal, District and Local Courts and NCAT in both a substantive and interlocutory nature.
